WWE Q1 business stats down from 2011

WWE released a "Key Performance Indicator" report on Wednesday comparing quarter by quarter figures for 2010-2012. Here are highlights comparing Q1-2012 to Q1-2011:

- Domestic attendance dropped from 6,400 per show in 2011 to 6,200 per show in 2012.

- International attendance dropped from 8,400 per show in 2011 to 3,400 per show in 2012. (Note: 2012 events were in different places than in 2011)

- Effective Home Video price dropped from $13 per unit shipped in 2011 to $10 per unit shipped in 2012.

- Total PPV buys were down 5,000 from 2011.

- Online Merchandise dropped from 83,000 sales in 2011 to 66,000 sales in 2012.

These are preliminary business figures for Q1-2012, WWE will release their official numbers for Q1 on May 3.
