Rock on being called "franchise Viagra"

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has picked up the nickname of "franchise Viagra" in Hollywood thanks to helping flagging movie franchises find box office success. Rock addressed the nickname in an interview with the LA Times.

"The goal was never to find franchises, go in and take them over," Johnson said. "The first question is, 'Well, can I come in and help elevate a movie?' With this film [G.I. Joe: Retaliation], it was an opportunity I wanted to grab by the throat and make right. I wanted it to veer off from the first."
